Compiled by blues authority Les Fancourt and strikingly packaged in postage stamp artwork, this 22-track selection of his classic recordings of the Forties serves as an ideal introduction to Terry's distinctive 'folk-blues' style which proved so popular with white audiences of the time. His virtuoso harmonica playing was a key feature in this sound and is heard to particularly good effect on the instrumental tracks.
